Asian American Studies Program
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is home to learning opportunities and research that give an account of the cultures and collective experiences of Americans who trace their ancestry to Asian countries. Such work reflects the interests of students and faculty and is responsive to the Asian American population that is steadily growing in the state. In addition to this academic agenda, our faculty, staff and students support campus activities such as lectures, films and special programming that fosters recognition of and respect for Asian American arts, literature, and heritage.
Students interested in learning more are encouraged to enroll in WLC 2100: Introduction to Asian American Studies.
